Where the cost of a gold trade sits
- The XAU/USD spread is quoted in dollars per ounce and one lot is 100 ounces, so a spread of $0.30 per ounce costs about $30 on a one-lot position and about $3 on 0.10 lots.
- Standard and Pro accounts pay no separate commission on gold — the spread is the whole trading cost.
- Raw Spread and Zero accounts charge commission instead: up to $3.50 per side per lot on Raw Spread and from $0.20 per side on Zero, in exchange for a raw spread.
